About Me

Born and raised in lovely Ohio, I have been painting and drawing for almost 40 years... I started painting faces at craft shows that I went to with my Mom as a way to stay entertained during those long, boring events. As I got older, I still painted, but only in between my adulting duties as a way to relax and reboot... and not usually faces ;)

In 2017, I was a single mom, laid off in a horrible job market and needing a way to provide for my youngest. I was miserable, depressed and BROKE.  I needed something I could do either from home or that I could take my kids with me to do and was RACKING my brain for ideas. I had started an online store in a previous life, but that took SOO much time and money, that I didn't have now... so that was NOT an option. I loved kids, but my tiny apartment wasn't optimal for babysitting. Working from home wasn't really a thing then, so finding something quickly would have been a feat. The next weekend went to a little festival and I saw it. A Face Painter. Just a sweet little lady under a pop up tent, with a chair, a small pallet of paints and a line of children A MILE LONG waiting to be transformed into a lion or princess. Lightbulb! I immediately went home and started Googling. With a little research, a little talent and a knack for entrepreneurship, the rest is history!

Since then, my business has grown so MUCH! I am a regular attendee at many local festivals, my kids are almost self sufficient and I am now a Gigi to a beautiful baby boy!

I LOVE what I do. The look on a child's face when they look in the mirror after their design is finished is PRICELESS.
